Rocking Horses for Therapy?!?!

I was hoping my rocking horse creations would be more then just toys. and today, I discovered they have and can be much more!

Apparently, Charles I had weak limbs up to the age of 7, so his caretakers had a rocking horse designed for him to help in his development. The story about him says that it not only helped him to walk, be he became an accomplished horseman and equestrian! How incredible!

There are some Occupational Therapy places and schools that use rocking horses for therapy. Apparently they help develop coordination, balance and a air of confidence, among other things.
